This corner bedroom started out with textured teal blue walls with one exposed feature wall of very rough splintery shiplap. With my sister Brittany’s help, we covered the shiplap with new drywall, sealed up the popcorn ceiling with beadboard planks, and added one wall of IKEA-adapted wardrobes and one wall of custom-built bookcases, each with built-in window seats.
