My Parents’ Living Room

This living room started out with highly textured teal walls and beige trim. My sister Brittany and I skimcoated the walls smooth, painted them a rich dark green, and coated the baseboards in a warm white. For the ceiling, we wanted to have a subtle touch of color without affecting the amount of light that bounced back in the room, so we used a lightened haint blue shade.
