I’m renovating my parents’ new (old) 1915 Craftsman home before they move in this fall! First up: I’m tackling exterior projects that will be too difficult to tackle once the Texas summer heat hits in full force. So let’s take a look at what we have to work with…
Honestly, what a beautiful space! I love that their backyard already has separate little zones—the shed, the fairy garden fountain area, the greenhouse, and the back porch. But since this is Texas and we get LOTS of mosquitoes, the back porch will only be functional for them if we screen it in.
But before I can do that, I need to make sure the overhang doesn’t fall over and pull off part of the roof with it! So first up: fixing the patio posts.
